Member of several associations related with IT such as Portuguese National Association for Free Software (Associação Nacional para o Software Livre, ANSOL), and of the Portuguese Association for the Defence of Digital Rights (Associação D3 - Defesa dos Direitos Digitais). Most of my contributions have been in organizing or contributing to organizing within the Ubuntu Community, both in Portugal and Europe, but also in promoting Ubuntu, and establishing relations with other Free Software communities, organizing and helping the organization of small monthly events, and bigger events at national and European scale, and representing Ubuntu-pt and UBports.

I’m also, found producer and co-host of the of Podcast Ubuntu Portugal. A podcast dedicated to promoting Ubuntu (including flavours and such) and Free Software in Portuguese Language. Debuted on May 2017, and with more than 125 episodes published, bringing awareness, news and promoting community engagement with Ubuntu, Free Software and Open Source Software in Portuguese language.

Many of the most recent contributions were made to UBports, Ubuntu Touch Community, where I do community management, marketing, social media management, and am Trustee of the UBports Foundation and member of the UBports Foundation Membership Committee.
